In 1981, UB made a commitment to academic excellence when it established the University Honors Program. More than thirty years later, that commitment is stronger than ever. In June 2011, UB not only has an Honors College, it has moved into a spectacular new home inside the Oscar Silverman Undergraduate Library in Capen Hall. The Honors College continues to offer talented students access to small class sizes, special academic opportunities, dedicated faculty and a learning community that supports and encourages intellectual curiosity and high achievement. Although it has grown — we now enroll 325 new students every year — its mission has not changed: to offer students and alumni an outstanding university experience.
To all our Alumni, we extend an open invitation to “come home to Honors” — to share your story, connect with classmates and faculty, see the new facility and continue the Honors legacy of academic excellence at the University at Buffalo.
The Honors College would like to invite you to a Happy Hour in the New York City region on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm The Ainsworth Midtown, 45 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
This social serves as an opportunity to connect and mingle with Honors College Alumni and Friends over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Whether you are from the area or just happen to be in town, we hope that you will find the time to join us!
Please RSVP to email@example.com using the link above by Friday, March 3rd with your name and the name of your guest.
